Estate Tax Update – What is Looming on the Horizon?

For more than 100 years, the federal government has imposed estate taxes upon the death of a taxpayer. So that not every estate must pay this tax, the federal government instituted exemptions on the applicability of the federal estate tax based on the value of an estate at the time of the taxpayer’s death.

Featured Employment Law Verdict : Albert Garcia, et al. v. Seltzar Doren Management Company, Inc., et al

On August 3, 2021 a $7.6 million verdict was entered in favor of plaintiffs Albert and Stephanie Garcia and against defendants Gresham Apartment Investors and Sierra Management in a wrongful termination action.
