Open Position: Paralegal

Poole Shaffery seeks to hire a litigation paralegal to join our Santa Clarita office for a full time in office position. Ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience in the defense of personal injury claims in the areas of Transportation, Premises liability, and Product Liability matters.  Responsibilities include filing and service of electronic court filings; subpoenaing and summarizing medical and employment records; court docket search; assist in drafting and responding to written discovery requests; organizing depositions and court appearances; assist in preparation of trial documents and trial binders. Additional responsibilities include case calendaring. Associate degree (AA) or ABA approved Paralegal Certification required. Experience with Juris, Excel and Forms Workflow and ability to speak Spanish a plus. Salary range $55,000 - $72,000 a year.
