Bio
Tim J. Ruiz is an associate attorney in the law firm of Poole Shaffery. Mr. Ruiz’s practice includes business and commercial litigation, premises liability, product liability, and trucking and transportation.
In 2019, Mr. Ruiz received his Bachelor of Art’s Degree in Business, with an emphasis on Sports Business, from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. While attending Arizona State, Mr. Ruiz was a member of ASU’s Sports Business Association and worked in the Athletic Department.
Mr. Ruiz earned his Juris Doctor at Pepperdine University, Caruso School of Law in 2023. During law school, Mr. Ruiz earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Research and Writing. He served as a staff member and later as an Associate Editor for the Pepperdine Law Review. Mr. Ruiz was a member of Pepperdine’s First-Generation Law Student Association, Sports and Entertainment Law Society, and Intellectual Property Student Association.
Mr. Ruiz was admitted to the California Bar in 2023. He is a member of the International Trademark Association.
