Koegle, had the opportunity to give a 90-minute presentation to 30 members of the Santa Clarita Valley Bar Association on October 10, 2013. The program was entitled "California Employment Law Update," and focused on the new federal and state regulations that have gone into effect since the beginning of the year. Mr. Koegle also touched on new California court decisions in his presentation, all of which have impacted California employers. He spoke about topics pertaining to wage and hour laws, the impact of medical marijuana laws and the new classifications of discrimination, which allow plaintiffs to bring claims against their employers.

The 100 plus membership of the SCV Bar Association regularly counts on Brian to give this presentation, considering the fact that he has more than 10 years of experience in counseling hundreds of companies in their employment practices. He is also a member of the Labor and Employment Sections of the California State Bar and the Santa Clarita County Bar Association, an Associate Fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA) and a member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI) and Claims & Litigation Management Alliance (CLM)—making him a more than qualified candidate. Not to mention, Mr. Koegle was even selected for inclusion on the Super Lawyers® Rising Stars list three years in a row, and recognized by the San Fernando Valley and Santa Clarita Valley Business Journals.
