Heather Donaldson is an Associate with Poole Shaffery & Koegle, LLP. She specializes in transactional matters and represents individuals, families, and businesses with respect to estate planning, contracts, business matters, and corporate law.
Ms. Donaldson comes to our firm with over 12 years of business experience in the aerospace and defense industry. She has served that industry in a variety of positions including business management, human resources, providing company training and protocols, contract review, and over 5 years as a compliance officer for both industry practices and internet security (ITAR, FAR, DFAR, ISO, NIST, etc.). While continuing to develop her business career in the aerospace industry, she opened a small business in the Santa Clarita Valley in 2013 called The Ranch Flower Shoppe, where she learned she preferred to manage businesses on a much larger scale. Today, Ms. Donaldson uses her experience to serve businesses and families by protecting their interests and assets for peace of mind.
Ms. Donaldson’s business practice includes representing clients in contract drafting and review, business formation and dissolution, compensation and employment agreements, asset purchase and sale agreements, stock purchase agreements and shareholder’s agreements, business planning and development, and various other aspects of corporate law. Her estate planning practice includes drafting revocable living trusts, irrevocable trusts, special needs trusts, wills, advance health care directives, and durable powers of attorney. Other real estate experience includes real estate purchase agreements, drafting and recording property deeds, commercial and residential leasing matters, permit and licensing matters, and the like.
