John F. Grannis is a Partner in the law firm of Poole & Shaffery, LLP. He specializes in civil litigation, with a focus in the areas of business disputes, products liability, premises liability, professional negligence, environmental disputes, construction defects and accidents, and mold litigation. Mr. Grannis attended the University of Manchester, England, in 1973 and 1974, and received his B.A. in English from Bucknell University in 1975. He graduated in 1979 from the McGeorge School of the Law, University of the Pacific.
Mr. Grannis is active in community service, volunteering his time as a member of the City of Santa Clarita Newhall Redevelopment Committee, the Santa Clarita Sphere of Influence Committee, the Santa Clarita Community Energy Advisory Committee, and as a Sunday school teacher at his church. As for professional affiliations, he is a member of the Santa Clarita Valley Bar Association, and the Los Angeles County Bar
Association.
Prior to joining Poole & Shaffery, LLP, Mr. Grannis worked in general civil practice and served as Administrative Law Judge Pro Tem in the California Office of Administrative Hearings for two years.
